About Us - A Short History

In 2005 we had a vision - to create a new style of travel magazine, one which focused on the stunning visual appeal of a destination, rather than tire its readers with page after page of text. A picture paints a thousands words, after all.

That's how Discover Fiji Time was born.

Since those early days in 2005, Discover Fiji Time has gone from strength to strength - the number of pages has increased with every issue (the current issue contains 204 pages) and distribution has grown from nationwide throughout New Zealand (that was Issue 1) to the current issue being on-sale internationally throughout over 10 countries worldwide.

'Discover Fiji Time' is a photographic showcase of the Fiji Islands and, as our by-line says, is so much more than just another travel magazine...

Our team has travelled to Fiji on many occasions, discovering the incredible natural beauty, experiencing the warmth of the Fijian people and capturing what we know as 'Fiji Time'. The combined experience of our international photographers and writers presents a Fiji you can't resist!
